I had this problem a while ago. It has to do with your save glitching. Sometimes, it can completely screw up your game.

Far Cry Primal Black Screen After First Mission. After the first mission (when you escape the cave and get away from the tiger) My screen turns black. I can still hear the background noises, but cannot progress past this point. I can force quit, but the game does not save my progress, so I have to do the first mission again.
