London City Airport isn't too far behind Heathrow. The airport's boasts a bar named The City Bar (how original) where a pint of Amstel sets you back £5.99. How very precise. Next is Luton Airport, whose location is pretty self-explanatory. Hawker Bar here sells pints of Estrella and Corona for a whopping £6.05. That'll make your eyes water.
Is a week in Prague too long ? We are considering a first time visit to Prague in May 2024. Most of the posts I have seen recommend 2-3 days to see Prague. However, we like to do things at a relaxed pace, visit some lessor known sights (in addition to the main tourist attractions), have some leisurely lunches, hang out in cafes, etc.
In Galway a pint of guinness can range from 3.80 to 4.20 depending on where you go. Heiniken and Cider, etc would average around 4.00 to 4.10. Shorts is 3.85 - 4.00 and the mixer (i.e. small bottle of ginger ale, white lemonate, etc) is 1.85. Not cheap, but cheaper than Dublin I'm sure.
Really good souvlakis are among the local fast-food items on offer. Sitting down in a tourist-area restaurant will cost much more. 6.59 - 10.99: Budget dinner: Athens is loaded with tourist restaurants charging fairly high prices. Casual places more for locals are better bargains. 12.09 - 17.58: Beer (.33l bottle)
